Our yearly event offers an outlet for our regional artists and craftspeople to exhibit their original, unique, well executed Artwork and Craft in an historic venue in the Port of Echuca precinct. The Members’ Gallery and Pop-Up Craft Shop aims to capture both local pre-Christmas shoppers and the post-Christmas tourists.
The Foundry Summer Exhibition will be open daily from 10am – 4pm subject to the availability of volunteers and other unpredictable events. There may also be some special evening events.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• Artists and craftspeople must be a member of EMAI Inc. ($30/$25).
• All works must be the original creation of the exhibitor and completed in 2023.
• 2D (framed and unframed) works must be ready to hang with D hooks.(5 – 10cm from the top of frame)
• Other works should include the proposed display details (an alternative may be provided by The Foundry)
• Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring that they are the sole owner of the copyright of the work they are submitting.
• The information on each item provided on the entry form will be our record of your works and forms the basis of tracking sales so it is imperative that the instructions are followed correctly.
• The Foundry Exhibition and Events Team aims to offer a diverse range of quality arts and reserves the right to exclude artworks not considered to represent the EMAI Inc. vision (see below) and to limit the quantity of works per artist dependent on space available.
• All care will be taken to protect and secure artworks, but EMAI Inc. will not be liable for theft or damage. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist.
• There will be a 20% commission on all sales, and this should be included in your price. EMAI Inc. is not registered for GST and it will not be added to your price.
• To support the success of the exhibition, exhibitors are required to volunteer for a minimum of 4 x 3 hour shifts for the duration of the exhibition. A roster will be available to fill out on drop-off day. If you are unable to volunteer, please find a friend who is available to volunteer in your place. If no volunteers are available, the gallery will be closed. You are welcome to bring a friend when volunteering at the gallery.
• Exhibitors will be supplied with hard copies and a digital version of marketing material to distribute to friends, acquaintances and potential shoppers.
• All unsold work will need to be picked up at the designated times as there is no storage space available at The Foundry Arts Space.
• All payments will be made within 4 weeks of the closing of the Foundry Summer Exhibition

EMAI Inc. and The Foundry Arts Space vision is to promote and foster well executed art in the local community through exhibitions, events, workshops and classes. The aim is to exhibit innovative art that is an expression of emotions, is subjective and encourages contemplation. Craft work made for artistic reasons rather than utility with the intention of being appreciated in the same way can also be seen as art.
Items made mainly for commercial purposes or from other people’s patterns or purchased parts without an engagement with the context of contemporary art will be defined as Craft. This is not to devalue what is being made – it is just different and will be presented at The Foundry Arts Space as Craft rather than Art.

EMAI Members are required to fill in the following details and include the information with the delivery of their work for the exhibition. Without this form completed the work cannot be accepted. The description and price provided on this form will be used for sales receipts.
